Do I need a Google account?
Yes — the app is distributed via Google Play, so you need a Play account to install. The app itself does not require an account: just download and connect.
Does it work on Android tablets?
Yes. Same APK, same WireGuard tunnel. UI scales for tablet screens.
Will it interfere with my other VPN apps?
Android only allows one active VPN connection. If you already have one running, ClownVPN will ask to take over. Switching back is one tap.
Is the APK on F-Droid or sideloadable?
Right now: Google Play only. F-Droid distribution is on the roadmap.
Does it work with split tunneling on Android?
Yes. You can pick which apps go through the tunnel and which stay direct. Banking apps direct, the rest tunneled — your call.
